The video below shows the volunteers interacting with some of the children at the Yirgaalem school when they went out there on a visit a few years ago. Terry, a trustee in the organisation, responds to some of the student’s questions and tells them about what he wants for all of them. Also on their visit the organisation brought the school some IT equipment and in the video they are unpacking it and setting it up in the school ready for the pupils to use. At the end of the video the children are singing to the volunteers as they leave! The equipment that they donated to the school was all brought with donations from people and fundraising by the organisation themselves, by donating computers they hoped that the children would learn vital IT skills that could help them in their futures when they try and get out of poverty.
