The Appeal is trying to improve the lives of children in poverty by giving them access to an education and fundraising for everything that they may need at the school. This video shows the organisation first visiting the village in Ethiopia where the existing school was and the village of Yirgaalem, the photos which are shown in the video were all taken by people that went out to Yirgaalem on their visit. The organisation was then introduced to the Headteacher at the time and the students at the existing school. Some of the trustees and people involved in the organisation spoke to specific people and learnt more about their stories and hopes for the school! They were able to see just how poverty stricken the area was and it inspired them to want to fundraise for them to be able to buy the equipment and materials needed to make the school successful for the children.
